Connect Dialogue to Claude

If you already use Claude, you can connect it to your Dialogue store. Then you can ask Claude to look at your assets, change texts, build segments and report on results, all in plain words. Claude uses Dia, the Dialogue AI assistant, to do the work. Learn more in Meet Dia, Your AI Assistant.

You can start from either place:

If you don’t have a connection yet, click Generate token. You’ll then see your Server URL and the steps below.

  1. Next to Server URL, click Copy.
  2. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
  3. Paste the server URL and click Add.
  4. Claude asks you to sign in to Dialogue and approve. On the approval page, click Allow.

That’s it. Dia’s tools show up in Claude automatically. If you are not signed in to your Dialogue dashboard, the approval page asks you to sign in first.

Using an older Claude version that can’t sign in? In the connection window, click Older Claude that can’t sign in? Use a direct link instead, copy that link, and paste it into Claude instead.

In the connection window, under Claude Code (terminal), click Copy next to the command. Run it once in your terminal.

Once connected, try:

  • “Show my active widgets and how they did this week.”
  • “Change my AI Recommendations widget button to ‘Add to bag’.”
  • “Create a segment for shoppers who added to cart but didn’t check out.”

Claude only works on your own store. Before a change that shoppers would see, Claude shows you what will change and asks you to approve it, just like Dia does in the dashboard.

Open the connection window again:

  • Revoke disconnects every Claude app that uses your connection. It stops working right away.
  • Regenerate creates a new connection and disconnects the old one. Add the new server URL to Claude again.

The window also shows when Claude last connected.

Open the chat in your Dialogue dashboard and ask Dia, or ask to talk to a person.
