Updated over 11 months ago

Gallery & Rich Media Highlights

  • Dialogue's automatic assets draw info from your store's feed, meaning the images shown would usually be packshots (simple images).

  • Rich Media (tagged images) will usually be much more eye-catching and engaging.

  • Images need to be tagged to specific products.

  • Dialogue's Gallery has folders to arrange your content.

Uploading Images to the Dialogue Gallery

Home page > Gallery > Add Folder > Upload Images

πŸ’‘ Dialogue Best Practice

  • Keep the gallery organized with the help of folders.

  • Make sure your uploaded media is less than 1.5 MB.

From the Home Page, click on Gallery then Create Folder, name your folder, Add & upload images by adding from URL, uploading from your device or by drag n' dropping them.

To enrich your store, Dialogue's Automatic Assets will draw the media you have uploaded when showing a specific product in an asset, but only if their tagged and enabled.

Tagging Images In The Dialogue Gallery

To tag images to specific products, mark all the relevant images (or videos) you would like to associate with a specific product, then click on Tag.

Next, search for the product you would like to tag (by name or SKU)

Choose the relevant product and click "Apply".

Your images are tagged! Now enable rich media to enrich your customers experience!

Enabling Rich Media

Home Page > Assets > My Assets > Design tab > Prefer Rich Media

Once your images are tagged, you can set your automated assets to show rich media.

Go to the relevant asset, through the Design tab use the Asset Editor, and Toggle on the Prefer Rich Media option.

Your asset will now show the tagged images from your gallery (if there are any), instead of images from the products feed.

If there are no tagged images linked to a specific product shown in the asset, it will show the default images from the feed.
