Setting up
Setting up Dialogue's Shopify Checkout Enhancer requires two actions:
Dialogue checkout asset publish
Shopify Checkout publish.
Here's how it's done:
1. Creating your first Checkout asset
Assets > Create > Cross Selling & Up Selling > Shopify Checkout Enhancer >
From the Dialogue dashboard, on the left menu, click on Assets then Create. Choose Cross Selling & Up Selling.
Now choose Shopify Checkout Enhancer, name your new asset, click Create, Segments tab > Publish.
π Please note: To implement the Dialogue Checkout Enhancer onto your Shopify Checkout Page, it must be Published first on the Dialogue dashboard before implementing it onto Shopify.
Once you have published it on Dialogue > Move on to step #2.
2. Implementing Dialogue Onto Shopify Checkout
From the Shopify Admin Dashboard bottom left menu, click Settings > Checkout and accounts > Checkout Customizations and branding.
If this is your first Customizable Checkout Page, click Create draft checkout, customize & publish it.
If you already have a Customizable Checkout Page choose Go to Checkout Editor.
Once on the Customizable Checkout Page, choose Add app > Dialogue Checkout Extension.
Once you choose Dialogue's extension:
A smart recommendation carousel will automatically appear on your checkout page π
More design capabilities become available for your carousel.
Design & Brand Compatibility
This smart asset automatically draws your store's checkout colors in order to appear compatible with your brand's design, yet it is possible to further customize the Checkout Enhancer asset in two ways:
Color & font customization - Shopify Admin Dashboard > Branding.
Carousel design & usability customization - Dialogue Admin Dashboard > Assets > My Assets > Checkout Enhancer > Design tab.

Offering A Checkout Incentive
Grabbing the last minute attention of your shoppers to an item they reviewed but haven't purchased, might require a little incentive. Offering a discount on an item could increase your overall AOV.
While in the Asset Editor > Design tab > scroll down > Redirect > Add to cart > Choose discount. You can choose from your store's existing discounts or create a new one.
